Notion Integration

Sync your CommandLane entries with Notion for cross-platform access and collaboration.

Features​

  • Bi-directional Sync: Changes sync both ways
  • Task Sync: Tasks appear in your Notion database
  • Note Sync: Notes sync to a dedicated Notion page
  • Status Mapping: Task status maps to Notion properties

Setup​

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Notion
  2. Click Connect to Notion
  3. Authorize CommandLane in the Notion popup
  4. Select the workspace and database to sync with

Configuration​

After connecting, configure sync settings:

  • Sync Frequency: How often to sync (default: 5 minutes)
  • Task Database: Which Notion database for tasks
  • Notes Page: Which Notion page for notes
  • Status Mapping: Map CommandLane statuses to Notion

Privacy​

When using Notion sync:

  • Entry content is sent to Notion's servers
  • Data is subject to Notion's Privacy Policy
  • Sync can be disabled at any time

Troubleshooting​

Sync not working​

  1. Check connection status in Settings → Integrations
  2. Verify the Notion database exists and has correct permissions
  3. Try disconnecting and reconnecting

Missing entries​

  • Ensure the entry type matches your sync configuration
  • Check date filters if configured
  • Look for sync errors in the dashboard
