Banner

The Banner is a persistent side panel that surfaces notifications, background task results, approval requests, and reminders. Think of it as your activity feed for everything happening in CommandLane behind the scenes.

What Appears in the Banner​

Task Results​

When a background task completes, its results appear in the Banner feed. Click on a result to open the full session.

Approval Requests​

When the AI Agent needs permission for a sensitive action, an approval card appears in the Banner. You can:

  • Approve — let the agent proceed
  • Dismiss — skip the action
  • Open Session — jump into the conversation for more context

Reminders​

Due reminders surface directly in the Banner feed when they fire. Interact with them to mark as done or snooze.

Resurfaced Entries​

CommandLane occasionally resurfaces older entries it thinks are relevant to your current work, helping you rediscover notes and tasks you may have forgotten.

Interacting with the Banner​

The Banner panel is collapsible. Items in the feed are displayed chronologically with the most recent at the top.

Each item shows:

  • What happened (task result, approval request, reminder)
  • When it occurred
  • Actions you can take (approve, dismiss, open session)

Memory Panel​

The Banner also includes a memory browsing panel where you can search and review saved memories.
